Booking TERMS AND COnditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully. When you make a booking, you accept on behalf of your party the terms of these booking conditions. It is your responsibility to ensure that all of the details on your reservation documents are correct and to bring to our attention any errors or discrepancies within 48 hours of your booking.

Guests accept and are held fully responsible for their visitors or children when staying at or visiting Ilanga and it’s surrounds.

** CREDIT CARD CHARGES**

Please note that no charge will be made to your credit card when you submit your booking request. Credit card information is only required for identification purposes in order to secure your booking. Charges to your credit card will only occur after final confirmation of your booking by one of the team from the Cote D'Azur Nelson Bay resort who manage the property and/or at check in.

PAYMENT POLICY
Until such time as a deposit has been processed or you have had final confirmation from either Cote D'Azur or ilanga management, your booking is reserved but not confirmed.

A 50% deposit may be required to secure the booking and the balance is payable 14 days prior to arrival date. 

If the arrival date is within 14 days of booking, the entire amount is payable at the time of booking.

Payments can be made by direct deposit, eftpos, Master Card or Visa. All credit card transactions will incur a 1.5% surcharge.

RESPONSIBLE RENTER
The responsible renter must be at least 30 years of age. Guests under 30 are of course welcome but must be accompanied by someone over the age of 30 who must reside at the property for the entire duration of the booking

ONLY BOOKED GUESTS MAY BE PRESENT ON THE PROPERTY BETWEEN 10PM and 8AM . 
We have a strict policy in relation to 'visitors' to the property and only booked guests are permitted to be on the property overnight. A fee of $500 per head will be charged if additional people are found on the property outside the above times.
Day visitors are welcome between 8AM and 10PM but the maximum total number of people allowed on the property at any one time is 10. If you are planning on having more than 10 people at ilanga at any time, please contact Pam at reception to discuss.
Any breach of this term may result in immediate eviction with no refund.

PETS, SMOKING ANYWHERE ON THE PROPERTY, PARTIES, BUCKS PARTIES, HENS PARTIES, FUNCTIONS, WEDDINGS, SCHOOLIES/TEENAGERS PARTIES, EXCESS OF GUESTS, POOR BEHAVIOUR, OR EXCESSIVE NOISE  IS NOT PERMITTED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES

*** Please do not book ilanga if you feel that you or your guests may breach this term and condition as you could be asked to leave the property with no refund. ***

CHECK IN/CHECK OUT

Check in is from 2.00pm. Check out is 10.00am. 

Depending on availability on the day of your arrival or departure, we may be able to offer earlier check in times or later check out times. Please contact us closer to your date of arrival about this possibility.

BOND 
Upon check-in at ilanga, you will be advised that your credit card will be used to hold a security bond. The purpose of the bond is to cover us for any damage you or your visitors make to Ilanga property during your stay.

Ilanga has been furnished  and equipped  with costly materials and products. You become responsible for any and all damage and loss to the property and its contents from the date and time you check-in to the date and time you check-out. Any damaged items at Ilanga will be charged at the full advertised replacement cost for the same or similar product or brand. Cleaning charges as a result of stains from spills that can be professionally removed will be charged for at cost.

Our cleaning staff carry out a thorough check of Ilanga after the departure of each guest and any damage is noted. However, it is important that you do a check yourself and notify us of any damage that you find in the apartment when you check in.

We strongly encourage you to immediately report any damage that occurs during your stay.  

LINEN & TOWELS ARE SUPPLIED 

The ultra comfortable sealy posturepedic beds are made up with quality  linen for 6 people. Doonas , blankets and pillows are also supplied.

ACCOMMODATES A MAXIMUM 6 GUESTS

All advertised tariffs are for a maximum of 6 guests and includes cleaning and linen hire.

We do allow one additional infant under the age of one year as long as you bring your own portable cot or crib along. 

Total maximum guests is 6, plus one infant under age of one year.

Any breach of this term may result in immediate eviction with no refund.

BEDDING CONFIGURATION OPTIONS

option 1 : 1 King in bedroom 1, 1 Queen in bedroom 2 and 2 long singles in bedroom 3

option 2 : 1 King in bedroom 1, 1 Queen in bedroom 2 and 1 King in bedroom 3

FOXTEL, NETFLIX, STAN and AMAZON PRIME
For your enjoyment and included in our nightly rate, we provide subscriptions to Foxtel, Netflix, Stan and Amazon Prime.
Each of these services have a huge amount of entertainment in the subscription we purchase but they also offer additional, optional, programs or movies at an extra cost per view.
Should you choose to watch something for which there is an additional cost, we reserve the right to debit your credit card with the cost of your selection. 
We will of course notify you by email and include details of this charge. 

BBQ

Although ilanga has an outdoor BBQ, we can no longer find a cleaner willing to clean it between guests. As such, for the time being, we are no longer making the BBQ available to guests. If a guest decides to use the BBQ of their own accord, then the BBQ must be left perfectly clean upon departure or a cleaning charge of up to $250 will be applied.

CLEANING

ilanga must be left in the same condition as it was found on your arrival. Excess cleaning fees may apply in certain circumstances e.g. rubbish not being removed, dishes not washed and put away, barbecue not cleaned, stains on furniture and carpets, marks on walls or doors, outdoor cushions left in the rain and needing cleaning etc

COTE D'AZUR COMPLEX FACILITIES

As a guest of ilanga, you are entitled to use all of the facilities provided by the Cote D'Azur complex including the heated pool, gym and sauna.

You are required to abide by all the Cote D'Azur terms of use of these facilities.

LOST OR DAMAGED KEYS AND SECURITY FOBS

Lost keys will incur a  $25 replacement charge to your card 

Lost security fobs will result in a $75 replacement charge to your card 

INDEMNITY

Guests and their visitors actions, conduct and safety are the responsibility of the Guests. 

Ilanga does not condone: unsafe, irresponsible or illegal actions/behaviour etc. on or off the premises, during a stay or at any other time. 

A condition of entering and/or staying at Ilanga is that all Guests understand and agree to indemnify the agent and owners from any responsibility or action(s), legal or other, due to any action(s), incident(s), loss or injury(s) of any guest or visitor while within or outside of the premises including, but not limited to, the grounds, facilities, structures, etc. during a stay or at any other time.
